Photographed Here is the Critically Endangered Western Purple-Faced Leaf Monkey. It is one of the Most Endangered Primate Species which is Endemic to The Dense Rainforests in the Island Nation of Sri Lanka. What makes this encounter even more special is found this individual not in the dense rainforests- but rather the suburbs of the capital city of Colombo, and in the perfect golden light of the golden hour peeking in through the canopy ! This fact highlights the Importance of co existence, and how it is essential so that species like these are not extinct.
