A bossz\u00fas\u00e1got viszont nagyban enyh\u00edti, ha hat\u00e9konyan \u00e9s gyorsan zajlik a biztos\u00edt\u00e1si \u00fcgyint\u00e9z\u00e9s \u2013 hiszen ugye senki sem olyan balga 2026-ban m\u00e1r, hogy ne legyen lak\u00e1sbiztos\u00edt\u00e1sa, ugye? De n\u00e9ha maga a biztos\u00edt\u00e1si \u00fcgyint\u00e9z\u00e9s is \u00fajabb ny\u0171g lehet, \u00e9s eltarthat egy darabig, am\u00edg az ember p\u00e9nzhez jut. Mit sz\u00f3lna viszont ahhoz, ha a k\u00e1rbejelent\u00e9s ut\u00e1n ak\u00e1r n\u00e9h\u00e1ny perccel m\u00e1r csilingelne is a banki alkalmaz\u00e1s a be\u00e9rkezett utal\u00e1ssal?<\/p>\n<p>Nos, ez az Uniqa eset\u00e9ben m\u00e1r nem \u00e1lom, hanem val\u00f3s\u00e1g. A c\u00e9g \u00fcgyfelei ugyanis a h\u00e9t b\u00e1rmely napj\u00e1n, 0-24 \u00f3r\u00e1ban nemcsak elkezdhetik, de teljesen v\u00e9gig is vihetik a cs\u0151t\u00f6r\u00e9sre \u00e9s \u00fcvegk\u00e1rra vonatkoz\u00f3 k\u00e1rig\u00e9ny\u00fcket. Mert ha v\u00e9gig csak a nagy nyelvi modellekre hagyatkozol, akkor lehet, hogy meg tudod oldani a feladatot, csak egy k\u00e1rig\u00e9ny elb\u00edr\u00e1l\u00e1sa 150 doll\u00e1rba ker\u00fclne, \u00fagy pedig nem fog kij\u00f6nni a matek a v\u00e9g\u00e9n\u201d \u2013 mondja Jendrolovics M\u00e1t\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>De az eg\u00e9sz dolog nem sokat \u00e9rne, ha az \u00fcgyfelek nem lenn\u00e9nek el\u00e9gedettek az \u00faj rendszerrel, \u00e9s k\u00f6veteln\u00e9k vissza az emberi \u00fcgyint\u00e9z\u0151ket. Csakhogy err\u0151l sz\u00f3 sincs, s\u0151t. \u201eEgyszerre tudtuk el\u00e9rni a hat\u00e9konys\u00e1g \u00e9s az \u00fcgyf\u00e9l\u00e9lm\u00e9ny n\u00f6veked\u00e9s\u00e9t, ami nagyon ritka. Az a rossz \u00e9s egyben j\u00f3 h\u00edrem van, hogy az \u00fcgyfelek nagyon szeretnek besz\u00e9lgetni NiQ\u00e1val.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2013 ENGLISH VERSION \u2014\u2013<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NiQA delivers on the promise of AI<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Can artificial intelligence be empathetic? <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uniqa.hu\/\">Uniqa<\/a> clients\u2019 experience suggests that it can, while also<br \/>making claims handling significantly more efficient. Following the positive results, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uniqa.hu\/niqa\">NiQa<\/a> will handle a<br \/>growing range of claim types.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No one likes a burst pipe, well, apart from plumbers, perhaps. The ordeal can, however, be mitigated by efficient and swift claims management. After all, it is 2026, so surely everyone has home insurance, right? In some cases, however, settling a claim is but another nuisance and receiving compensation can take some time. But what would you say if, just minutes after reporting the claim, you heard your banking app chime to confirm that the payment had arrived?<\/p>\n<p>For Uniqa, this is no longer a dream, but reality. The insurance company\u2019s clients can start and pursue claims for burst pipes or broken glass anytime and day of the week. At the heart of the service is NiQA, the insurer\u2019s AI-based virtual assistant. NiQa is much more than an everday chatbot; up to a specific compensation limit, it can process claims without human supervision from the request for documents, through claim assessment to payment.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Taking on the toughest challenge first<\/h2>\n<p>NiQa is a groundbraking development and not only on the Hungarian market, but also in Europe. \u201eEnormous work was needed for this, both on the client\u2019s side, that is, Uniqa\u2019s, and on the technological side, meaning ours,\u201d points out M\u00e1t\u00e9 Jendrolovics, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/ai.intuitech.studio\/\">Intuitech<\/a>, which co-developed the solution with Uniqa and builds AI solutions for automating complex, highly manual workflows such as insurance claims processing. \u201eThe great thing about this is that it\u2019s not just a pilot we\u2019re experimenting with; it\u2019s live in production, and it works.\u201d What\u2019s more, NiQA was thrown straight into the deep end, since assessing burst-pipe and glass-damage claims is among the most complex cases there are.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>In this respect, my approach and Uniqa\u2019s attitude are unique. We deliberately opted for the most complex task,\u201d says Kriszti\u00e1n Kurtisz, CEO of Uniqa, responsible for both claims settlements and IT. \u201eWe thought: if we can do this, we can do anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s pause for a moment and imagine what is required to process a claim for a burst pipe in a private home. First, it has to be confirmed whether the client has a valid policy that covers the damage, then the uploaded documents and photos need to be verified (including whether or not the pictures show the damages of the reported incident and not a different event); estimates have to be made for the repair costs and damages to other objects, such as furniture; and last, the claims payment nees to be authorized and completed. For a single photo, it evaluates at least 40 to 60 criteria, including whether the picture shows a bathroom, whether the tiles have actually been removed, whether there are visible signs of corrosion on the pipe, and so on,\u2019 explains M\u00e1t\u00e9 Jendrolovics, taking us behind the scenes.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>We had never had such detailed claim files before, and I have been in the insurance business for entirely too long,\u201d adds Kriszti\u00e1n Kurtisz. \u201ePreviously, we had a claims agent look at the case, write up a few sentences of explanation, and that list of 500-600 checklist items existed only somewhere in their head.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Now, every point is documented and can be referred to in case of a deadlock, dispute, inspection or audit. In most cases, this is unnecessary. In 99% of the claims below the compensation limit, NiQA processes the case and makes a decision entirely independently. This has delivered a incredible increase in efficiency. \u201eThe promise of AI is not merely to replace simple tasks, but to take on complex roles. From July, NiQA will go live for storm damage claims, and by September, it will be able to process all damages covered by home insurance. A pilot car insurance claims is planned for the end of 2026, which, following a short test period, is expected to go live by mid-2027. This rapid pace of development was built in part on Intuitech\u2019s targeted preparation collaborations of this kind, and by the care taken to ensure that the solution did not only work, but was also efficient. \u201eWhen building such a system, you are combining different tech stacks. If you relied exclusively on large language models, a single claims management process would cost around 150 USD, and the maths simply would not add up,\u201d explains M\u00e1t\u00e9 Jendrolovics. This would, of course, be all for show if clients were dissatisfied with the new system, demanding to talk to a human claims agent again. But that is not the case at all; quite the opposite, in fact. \u201eWe have improved efficiency and client satisfaction at the same time, which is extremely rare. Since its launch in November, the project has achieved an average customer feedback score of 4.9 out of 5,\u201d points out Kriszti\u00e1n Kurtisz.<\/p>\n<p>The real surprise is that around-the-clock availability and efficient claims handling are not the only reasons for this result. \u201eIn a typical call centre, the goal of an agent is to find a solution to the client\u2019s problem as efficiently as possible\u2014which usually means as fast as possible.There is no such time limit for NiQa. We even had a claim management chat run for over an hour, and the client in question gave us a 5-star review, highlighting how emphatetic the assistant was,\u2019 recounts Kriszti\u00e1n Kriszti\u00e1n. \u201eThe insurance sector was uncertain as to how keen people would be to chat with AI.
